Today, you’re heading to Shallotte for a must-attend book signing event at Silver Coast Winery. Bestselling author Fiona Davis is in town to promote her latest page-turner, The Stolen Queen, and the winery’s intimate atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to chat with fellow book lovers. You mingle, sip on award-winning wine, and enjoy lighthearted conversations about literature, local happenings, and the beauty of life at Coastal Club. Before you know it, the day slips away, but it's filled with laughter and good company.

February might seem quieter, but there’s no shortage of excitement. You head to Downtown Conway for the Chocolate Walk, where local businesses roll out their best sweet treats, and every stop is like a mini treasure hunt for chocolate lovers. You indulge in rich, decadent chocolates, explore quirky local shops, and cap it off with a delightful lunch at a charming café. It’s a lovely escape, and in a flash, you’re back in Calabash, ready for more fun with Ozzy’s Oyster Roast & Low Country Boil at the Calabash Marina. This event, just minutes from home, offers fresh, melt-in-your-mouth oysters, shrimp, and sausage boiled in a spicy, flavorful broth—a true coastal feast! It’s the perfect evening of tasty food, live tunes, and great company.

When March  rolls around, it’s time to join the 35th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival in North Myrtle Beach. The streets burst green as bagpipes pipe up and the scent of fresh kettle corn fills the air. From the iconic parade to street performers and food trucks, the festival brings out everyone’s Irish spirit! There’s even a Shepherd’s Pie Eating Contest if you’re feeling brave enough, or you can simply dance along to the live music and enjoy the festive atmosphere. It’s a celebration of culture, and Coastal Club residents love to join the fun.

As the flowers begin to bloom in April, you make your way to Wilmington for the Azalea Festival. A short drive brings you to this gorgeous celebration of the region’s spring beauty, where you’re treated to colorful garden tours, local art exhibits, and a lively street fair. There’s no shortage of live performances, delicious food, and unique crafts to check out. Your favorite part? The evening concert at the Battleship North Carolina, where you can relax on the grass, enjoy the music & fireworks, and soak up the magic of spring in full bloom.

By May, summer’s calling, and it’s time for the World-Famous Blue Crab Festival in  Little River. Just a quick drive away, this event is all about coastal flavor. Grab a seat with friends and dig into freshly steamed blue crabs, served up by the bucketful, or snack on fried shrimp and hushpuppies. The beach music keeps you grooving all day long, and there’s no shortage of local vendors and activities to keep the whole family entertained. You may even want to try your hand at the Crab Races, which is as fun as it sounds!

When June comes around, the Brunswick County Free Summer Concert Series takes center stage. Every Tuesday night, you grab a blanket and head to the local park for live music under the stars. Whether it’s classic rock, blues, or jazz, it’s a perfect way to unwind, kick back, and enjoy the summer nights with neighbors. The music flows, the food trucks roll in, and everyone’s in high spirits, making this a weekly highlight for Coastal Club residents. Need more music? North Myrtle Beach has a Summer Concert Series every Thursday nights from 7-9 PM throughout the summer!

As July rolls in, the  4th of July Festival in Southport is not to be missed. This festival is one of the biggest events of the year, drawing people from all over the region to enjoy parades, fireworks, and a truly coastal celebration of Independence Day. Watch the Freedom Flotilla—a colorful parade of boats decorated in red, white, and blue—or join the crowd for a jaw-dropping fireworks show. You’ll feel the true sense of community and pride, all wrapped up in a dazzling display of lights and colors.

In August, the fun doesn’t stop! You head to McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach for free outdoor movie nights under the stars. These Friday night screenings turn the park into an outdoor theater, complete with family-friendly films, picnic baskets, and popcorn. It’s the perfect way to end the week, snuggled up on a blanket with your favorite people, laughing at a classic movie as the sun sets over the horizon.

October is all about the Sunset at Sunset Festival  in Sunset Beach, just a short drive away. In November, the holiday spirit begins to take over, starting with the Shallotte Specialty Holiday Market. It’s a festive marketplace filled with handmade goods, delicious seasonal treats, and one-of-a-kind gifts. The Calabash Turkey Trot is another favorite in November, offering a fun way to burn off that pre-holiday pie with a festive 5K run. You finish the run feeling great, knowing that the holidays are just around the corner, and you’re ready to embrace them with your Coastal Club family. End the year with a bang at two magical events. The Intercoastal Christmas Regatta in Little River or the Ocean Isle Beach Flotilla, both boat parades feature an array of sparkling lights that will make your heart swell with holiday spirit.

December is bringing the holiday magic to town! Kick things off at the Calabash Christmas Parade, where dazzling floats light up the streets, followed by a Christmas tree lighting to set the festive mood. It’s the perfect way to dive into the season’s spirit! Ready for even more sparkle? Head over to The Great Christmas Light Show  in North Myrtle Beach, where over two million lights and 500 jaw-dropping displays await along a 2-mile drive-through course. This dazzling experience is a must-see, with plenty of "oohs" and "ahhs" guaranteed! For some interactive holiday fun, make your way to Santa's Village! Hop on the Santa Express Train Ride, roast marshmallows for s’mores, and get a chance to meet Santa himself. It’s a holiday wonderland for kids and grown-ups alike!
